Get On Out The Door Gonzales
It is time to give up the ghost Mr. Gonzales. "Get on out the door" as my grandmother would have said.
You have broken the law, manipulated the U.S. Constitution, spied on U.S. citizens, fired federal judges for political reasons, and gave torture your blessing.
What else does he have to due to get fired? He is a disgrace to the United States. Maybe Russia will admit him to the KGB. (See picture of his new place of employment...above).
The KGB traces its ideological mission to the "sword and shield" of the Cheka: "the shield to defend the revolution, the sword to smite its foes" (The Sword and the Shield).
Alberto R. Gonzales “ARG (our version of the KBG) tasked responsibilities have been external espionage, counter-espionage, the liquidation of anti-Bush and counter-revolutionary organizations within the United States and abroad, guarding the national borders, guarding the Radical Right Party and State leaders and critical Bush property. Also, he has investigated and prosecuted thieves of State and Bushist property and stomped on the less fortunate middle class.
Who were his biggest contributors while he was running for a seat on the Texas Supreme Court? None other than “Kenney Boy” and Enron.
Oh Gosh, and while Gonzales was author of a Texas Supreme Court opinion he handed the energy industry one of its biggest Texas legal victories in recent history.
And since coming aboard the Titanic, I mean Bush administration; he has played a major role in keeping details about VP Cheney’s meetings with his energy task force secret.
He also helped orchestrate 57 death penalty cases for which then-Governor Bush allowed 56 to be executed. One of the executed was a mentally handicapped man with the communication skills of a seven-year old.
How about his memo on the Geneva Convention? “In my judgment, this new paradigm renders obsolete Geneva’s strict limitations on questioning enemy prisoners and renders quaint some of its provisions.”
Or having any mention of the Geneva Convention removed from the Army field manual.
The ARG also failed to safeguard civil rights in hunting and interrogating terrorists, even as Gonzales tries to quell a furor surrounding the recent firings of eight U.S. attorneys.
The ARG might very well be guilty of a lot of things, and probably be the fall guy for a lot more. Because he is loyal to the top and will take the hit for Bush/Cheney.
He has been a disservice to all of humanity and an embarrassment to our country.
It is time to clean house, and that means the entire house, judicial/legislative and EXECUTIVE branches.
Fire them all, start over with fresh new and intelligent faces. Maybe much younger leaders and ones without lobbyist’s ties.
